Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 24 July 2026
At Avomu (KvK 76757579, Netherlands) we want everyone to be able to use our website and products. That includes people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology, like screen readers or keyboard-only navigation. This statement explains what we do, where we still have work to do, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Our aim and standard
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. These are the international guidelines for making web content easier to use for everyone. We also support the goals of the European Accessibility Act, which asks businesses to make their digital products usable by people with disabilities.
What we do
We build accessibility into avomu.com from the start. Some of the things the site already does:
- It uses clear, semantic HTML structure, so screen readers can understand the page.
- It works with a keyboard, so you don't need a mouse to move around and use it.
- It shows visible focus outlines on links and buttons, so you can always see where you are.
- It keeps good colour contrast, so text stays easy to read.
- It is responsive and works on phones, tablets and computers.
- It respects the "reduce motion" setting, so animations turn off for people who prefer that.
- The whole site works even without JavaScript, so it doesn't rely on scripts to be usable.
Known limitations
We want to be honest: accessibility is ongoing work, and some parts may not be perfect yet. We keep checking and fixing things as we go.
At the moment we are not aware of any major accessibility problems. If you find one, please tell us and we will fix it as soon as we can.
Need help or found a problem?
If any part of the site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please email [email protected]. We're happy to help and we'll try to give you the content another way. To help us fix it faster, please describe the page you were on and what went wrong, so we can find the problem quickly.
Feedback and your rights
We take accessibility feedback seriously and aim to reply quickly. If you're not happy with how we respond, you can contact the relevant authority in your country that handles accessibility complaints.
How we test
We check our pages with keyboard navigation and review them as we build. Accessibility is never "finished", so we keep testing and improving over time.
